Read MoreGalloping Mountain Lion Kitten
A youngster tries to catch up with her mom and sister on Transition Habitat Conservancy land in the high desert.
A new resident of the Verdugo Hills, this young male has found his way from the San Gabriel mountains through suburbia and patches of open space, to the smallest known habitat for a mountain lion on earth. (P-22 held the previous record but now he rests in peace). His ability to move and live freely is threatened by a massive development of 200 or more luxury houses. All profit from sales of this image will go to the group No Canyon Hills so they can fight to save the land for LTP and all other wildlife.
